Blackwell Plumbing and Gas is a well-established plumbing company led by Josh Blackwell, a certified Plumber and Gas Fitter with over 20 years of industry experience.
Since beginning operations in 2016, we have built a strong reputation in delivering high-quality commercial plumbing projects through reliable systems, clear communication, and expert workmanship.
As the business has grown, we have expanded into large-spec housing and residential services, including renovations and maintenance.
Backed by an experienced team, Blackwell Plumbing and Gas delivers professional, customer-focused service and high-end workmanship clients can rely on across projects of all sizes.
Meet Josh and Amy Blackwell
Meet Josh and Amy, directors of Blackwell Plumbing and Gas, who bring a strong focus on quality, workmanship, communication and project delivery.
Josh’s extensive industry experience is complemented by Amy’s focus on operations, systems and client relationships. Through these skills, Josh and Amy can ensure projects are well managed from start to finish. Together, they have built a company known for professionalism, consistency and a high standard of work across every job.
Outside of the business, Josh and Amy are raising their four sons and are actively involved in the local community. That same commitment shows up in every project, every client, and every job they take on.

Gateway
This year, we are hosting our first Gateway student from St Patrick’s College Silverstream. Gateway helps college students gain access to hands-on workplace-based learning. Our gateway student Hunter comes on board our team once a week, each time building his career path whilst still completing NCEA at school.
Upper Hutt Rams Rugby Club
We are proud sponsors of the Upper Hutt Rams Rugby Club, supporting grassroots sport and the development of local talent. The Rams play an important role in bringing the community together.
